Harry Styles calls out late fan mid-performance

Harry Styles is basically a CCTV with a microphone, nothing gets past him.

Being late to his concert is apparently not something one can do unnoticed as the former One Direction star is taking attendance.

During his performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, September 19, the Watermelon Sugar hitmaker spotted a fan making entrance mid Adore You rendition.

He didn’t hesitate to point out the attendee’s late arrival and decided to give them a very public welcome.

Dressed in a black polka-dot shirt, the Golden singer briefly turned his attention away from the song and pointed toward the arriving fan while holding his microphone.

“You’re late,” he said, with a playful grin.

And just like that, one concertgoer went from trying to quietly slip into the crowd to receiving a personal call-out from the night’s performer.

The As It Was singer appeared amused as he delivered the two-word verdict before carrying on with the performance, smiling and moving around the stage.

Fans reacting to the clip described the moment as funny and very much in keeping with Styles' playful interactions with his audience.
