Nick Canon reveals 'soft corner' for Bre Tiesi: 'Twin flame'

Nick Canon is clearing up speculation about whether he has a favourite among the six women who are mothers to his children, while opening up about his especially close bond with Bre Tiesi.

The entertainer, 45, discussed the subject in an exclusive interview with US magazine ahead of his upcoming Wild ‘N Out tour, insisting that he does not have favourites – although he acknowledged that Tiesi understands him in a way few others do.

“Sometimes I say things, and they come off the wrong way. But I’ll state it like this,” Cannon said.

“I don’t have favorites, but if I had to say the person who probably understands me the most would be Bre [Tiesi]. There’s a safe haven there. We call each other twin flames, because she accepts all of my s***, and I accept everything that she is.”

Tiesi, 35, shares their 4-year-old son, Legendary, with Cannon. On Father’s Day, she praised the comedian and actor as “The best man, partner and most importantly father.”

Cannon said the two “just really get along,” describing their relationship as one built on trust and understanding.

“There becomes a closeness and a sense of understanding that I probably don’t have with anybody else,” he said. “We move like that, and she’s, like, a ride or die. If you about to go into a gunfight, that’s who you want to have with you.”

He also praised Tiesi for being “super protective,” adding, “She don’t play about me,” and saying, “As much as I say I don’t have a favorite, she definitely holds a special place in my heart.”

Although Cannon was previously married to Mariah Carey from 2008 to 2016, he says he is unlikely to marry again.

“I don’t like the government in my love life,” he said. “I like to be fluid and be able to move.”
