Balochistan Assembly condemns attack on Hamid Mir

QUETTA: A resolution has been adopted in the Balochistan Assembly condemning that attack on Geo News senior anchor Hamid Mir.

The resolution was presented by the opposition leader in the provincial assembly and calls for the arrest of those behind the attack.

On Monday, the Senate along with the Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies adopted resolutions to condemn the attack on Hamid Mir. The resolutions urged the federal government to take effective steps for the safety and protection of journalists across the country.
