PML-N suspends membership of Captain (retd) Safdar

LAHORE: PML-N General Secretary Iqbal Zafar Jhagara has suspended the party membership of the President of PML-N Youth Wing Captain (retd) Safdar as per directives of Nawaz Sharif.

The party’s general secretary also issued a show cause notice to Captain Safdar according to which the latter gave indecent statements, which lead to a grouping within the party.

It is pertinent to mention here that Safdar had nominated the name of Ameer Maqam for president PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and he criticised Mehtab Abbasi and Pir Sabir Shah in his address.

Safdar has been given 10 days to submit a reply of show cause notice.
