Bannu: Polling kicks off for PK-70 by-elections

BANNU: Polling for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly's seat from constituency PK-70, Bannu, in the by-election began on Tuesday.

The seat fell vacant after the sudden death of Ziad Akram Durrani.

The JUI-F candidate Irfanullah Khan Durrani is taking part in the by-polls by representing an only political party as the remaining four others candidates are independent.

Remaining candidates in the run are Malik Mohammad Ashfaq, Malik Saadullah Khan, Zafar Ali Khan, Sadiqur Rehman and Rehmatullah alias Kaka Jan.

The polling kicked off amid tight security arrangements.
