India to issue visas to Pak cricket fans

ISLAMABAD: The Indian government has decided to grant travel visas of its five cities to Pakistani cricket fans for upcoming Pak-Indo series, Geo News reported.

Sources in the interior ministry said that, though Pakistani fans could apply for Indian visa for five cities as per new visa regime, they would be required to present their tickets and documents regarding their stay in the country. Besides, they would also need guarantee of an Indian citizen.

The cricket series between the two countries would start from December,25 and their interior ministries have given approval for issuance of 5000 visas.
