Karachi: Bullet found in US diplomat bag

KARACHI: A US diplomat has to extend written apology after security officials found a bullet in his luggage at Karachi’s M.A Jinnah International Airport, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Sources said that the Airport Security Force personnel stopped the US diplomat Jonathan Pena from boarding the plane after finding a 9MM pistol bullet from his bag during routine search.

Mr Jonathan was to fly to Islamabad through Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-308.

Authorities allowed him to travel after the American diplomat offered written apology for keeping the bullet in his bag.
