New provinces commission based on malicious intent: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Tuesday that the commission for the formation of new provinces is based on malicious intent.

Meeting members of the Punjab Assembly belonging to different districts, Sharif said President Asif Ali Zardari had started a political drama ahead of the general elections. The chief minister added that the people of Bahawalpur and South Punjab were well aware of the ambitions of the Federal government.

Sharif further said that when southern Punjab was in the grips of the floods, President Zardari was visiting London and Paris.
