MQM protests in NA against Pir Mazhar’s statement

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) protested in National Assembly on Tuesday against the statement of Pir Mazharul Haq, Geo News reported.

According to details, MQM leader Sajid Ahmed said that Sindh Education Minister of Sindh, Pir Mazhar went against Hyderabad University and his party condemns his statement. Bill of construction of this varsity had been pending in the provincial assembly over the past one year, he added.

Sajid demanded of the government to approve this bill immediately, or else, people of Sindh would stage protest against it.

On this, PPP MNA Nawab Muhammad Yusuf said Pir Mazhar had withdrawn his statement with in an hour, adding MQM also hurts their sentiments by issuing statements on some matters.

Nawab Muhammad Yusuf Talpur said people of Sindh should join their hands to resolve their issues in friendly environment.
