ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman Tuesday said that the federal government and his party had reached "consensus" over mutually agreed priorities at this stage, Geo News reported
“JUI-F can join federal cabinet in the next stage”, said he talking to newsmen after holding a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Fazl said that he had told the finance minister that effectively fighting the terrorism/militancy necessitated a consensus national policy.
Earlier, Fazl called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
According to sources both the leaders discussed the modalities for joining of the federal government by JUI-F and country's political situation.
Ahsan Iqbal and Akram Durrani also attended the meeting.
