Ephedrine quota case: Hanif Abbasi to be indicted on August 22

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics court here Friday fixed August 22 the date for indicting Hanif Abbasi in the ephedrine quota case.

Special Judge Anti-Narcotics court Arshad Mahmood Tabassum was hearing the case, when Hanif Abbasi appeared before the court, who was given the copies of the challan and later the court adjourned after fixing the date for indictment of Hanif Abbasi on August 22.

It may be recalled that Hanif Abbasi, the former member national assembly of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had lost the May 11 elections from NA-56 to Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Chief Imran Khan, and is one of the 25 aspirants who have filed their nomination papers to contest by-elections from NA-48, Islamabad.
