Decision reserved on petition to put Musharraf’s name in ECL

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday reserved its decision on a petition seeking to put former president Pervez Musharraf’s name on exit control list (ECL), Geo News reported.

Petitioner in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case, Haroon Rasheed stated that Musharraf’s name should be put in the ECL to stop him from going abroad as like Hussain Haqqani he would also not return to face the cases against him.

The petitioner also prayed that the interior ministry be directed to put his name in the ECL.
