Targeted operation: two gang-war accused killed in exchange of fire

KARACHI: Two gang-war accused were killed in exchange of fire with police and Rangers in Lyari on late Tuesday night, Geo News reported.

Police said on the information about the presence of outlaws in the area, the para-military force and police launched an action at Shah Alam Bukhari road. Exchange of fire took place between the criminals and law enforcement agencies.

As a result, two gang-war accused Sana Baloch and Yousuf Lasi were killed.

Police said the accused, having links with gang-war, were involved in more than 100 murders.

Meanwhile, during search operation in Zaman town area of Korangi, five suspects were nabbed and arms were recovered.

During door-to-door search operation in Ghosia colony in PIB colony several suspects were also arrested.

DSP Tariq Mughal said police detained nine accused and recovered arms from their custody during an action in Mehmoodabad subdivision.
