NICL scam: NAB asks police to produce Gilani before probe body

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked police to produce former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani before a probe team of the anti-corruption body for his alleged involvement in the NICL scam.

Gilani was to appear before the NAB on Wednesday but he didn’t show up, prompting the country’s premier anti-corruption body to involve police.

Earlier, a notice was also issued to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader for his non-cooperation.
