Two injured as police mobile attacked in Sohrab Goth

KARACHI: Two persons were injured when a hand grenade explosion took place in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi Friday morning, Geo News reported.

According to police, the incident took place in Sohrab Goth area today morning when two persons were injured due to grenade blast. Police suspected that the miscreants tried to hurl a hand grenade on the police vehicle and the grenade went off in their hands during the attempt that injured two accused.

Police apprehended the suspected injured persons and shifted them to hospital where one is said to be in critical condition.

SSP Central Amit Farooqi told that the injured persons are the residents of Sachal Goth and are currently being interrogated.

On the other hand, a cracker explosion also took place near a car in Shuhada Graveyard in Peerabad and fortunately no casualty was reported in the incident.
