If used as a 'revenge tool' accountability will lose its meaning: Chandio

HYDERABAD: Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Moula Bakhsh Chandio on Saturday said accountability will lose its meaning if it is used as a tool for taking revenge.

“People’s Party cannot even think of confronting the centre, as on the contrary our party has always tried to safeguard the federation,” Chandio said while addressing a press conference in Hyderabad.

He said Sindh Rangers and police succeeded in establishing order and bringing peace to Karachi.

Chandio said Dr. Asim’s life is in danger and the responsibility of his security lies with those in whose custody he presently is.

Taking a dig at Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, he said the former even goes ahead and dictates members of the National Assembly as if he is a ‘head master’.

He said Chaudhry Nisar behaves like a ‘viceroy’ who would even get angry with the Prime Minister and walk away.
