Fawad Alam says he had plan to stay till 50th over
DHAKA: Fawad Alam, who scored his maiden ODI ton and led Pakistan to set 260 runs target, says he had plans to stay at crease till the last over.

“I was keeping in mind we have to set over 250-runs target since our bowling line can defend a good total”

Commenting on Pakistan’s performance in Geo’s special transmission, Shoib Akhtar and Muhammad Yousaf were of the view that Pakistan was short of 50 to 75 runs as the green-shirts were in a position to make a safe total against a good Sri Lankan batting lineup.
