Updated at: 0423 PST,  Sunday, April 19, 2009
Altaf strongly deplores Hangu suicide attack LONDON: Quaid Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain, strongly condemning the Hangu suicide attack on police checkpost, has termed the attack as an example of failure of peace deal in NWFP province.

He questioned the supporters of Nizam-e-Adl regarding the success and future of Swat peace accord in terms of NAR after the said incident of terrorism.

Altaf asked whether the perpetrators of this heinous crime should be dealt with strong hands who have played havoc with the blood of innocent police personnel and people or they should be spared in the name of NAR accord?

He termed the suicide attack in Hangu as a bid to raise terrorism across Pakistan in the name of NAR deal.

Altaf urged President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take stringent and fierce action against the perpetrators of Hangu suicide attack.
