Mufti Muneeb demands exhaustive probe in Dr Naemmi murder KARACHI: President of Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahle Sunnat Pakistan and Chairman Rute-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman said Saturday the government should conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the assassination of Dr Sarfraz Naeemi.

Addressing a press conference here after a meeting of Executive Council, he said all the ulema of Jama’at Ahle Sunnat are the prime target of the terrorists, adding the martyred Dr Naeemi was not provided any security.

Mufti Muneeb said no government official has contacted them nor has any scholar of Ahle-Sunnat been provided any security, adding the Punjab Government has sympathies with Dr Naeemi; however, no positive headway could be made.

Mufti Muneeb said he would continue his mission and keep on working for the Islam and integrity of the country.

On this occasion, Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi was made the member of Executive Council and Vice President of Tanzeemul Madaris.
