 JHANG: At least six people were killed and a man was injured as a result of long-rooted enmity in Jhang, Geo News reported Monday.
According to police sources, seven people of a family were on way to appear before the court in connection with a lawsuit, when some unknown armed men ambushed them with gunshots, killing four on the spot and injuring three others.
The injured, while being transported to District Headquarters Hospital, succumbed to injuries.
Police said the incident is an offshoot of long-persisted hostility and at least three people have been arrested on murder charges. |  |
