Pakistan chess team leaving for India tomorrow LAHORE: Pakistan’s two-member chess team will leave for India tomorrow for participating in the Asian Zone 3.5 Chess Championship which is also the qualifying round of the World Chess Championship.

The Asian Zone 3.5 Chess Championship will be held from August 9 to 18 in the Indian capital, Delhi.

Players from Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh and Nepal will take part in the championship.

Pakistan will be represented in the event by Aamer Karim and Taveer Gilani.
