New Mission Impossible to be shot in Dubai

Updated at: 1438 PST,  Thursday, September 30, 2010
New Mission Impossible to be shot in Dubai LOS ANGELES: The latest film in the Mission Impossible series is set to be shot on location in Dubai.

Fans of Tom Cruise may want to research cheap flights to Dubai ahead of the actor arriving in the Emirate state in a few weeks time.

According to Dubai's media office, filming preparations have been approved following two months of location research and meetings.

The statement continued: "Actual filming of the project, that will attract more than 400 industry professionals, is expected to commence within a few weeks."

Mission Impossible 4 is to be directed by Brad Bird, whose past works include The Incredibles and Ratatouille. So far, the cast list is expected to include Simon Pegg and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star Michael Nyqvist.

The Press Trust of India recently reported that Drew Barrymore could be filming in Dubai if she accepts a role in a planned Bollywood movie project.
