Ranbir Kapoor has struck close friendship with Fawad

Fawad Khan has certainly been acquiring a lot of fans and Bollywood actors are just loving the talent this man has. One such actor to join the list of his fans include Ranbir Kapoor.

The two actors recently worked together for their upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ where they will be seen sharing work space and engaging in heated fights with him onscreen. But off screen is a completely different scenario!  According to Ranbir, the two had ‘a lot of fun’ working together  in a recent interview with Hindustan times.

He stated, “He is talented. Hanging out with him, even outside the sets, was so much fun,” he said.

The actor shared that he has bonded well with Fawad and that they share a good relationship. “We struck a good friendship,”

News surrounding the movie is that Fawad’s role in the film would be increased and when Ranbir was asked to comment on it, he graciously replied, “I hope his part has been increased.”

When asked about Fawad signing on more films that Ranbir, he said, “Competition is a good thing; it has always been there. It was present when Raj Kapoor (his grandfather), Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar were acting. It only drives us to become better versions of ourselves,”

Ranbir it seems is taking inspiration from the Pakistani actor and recently stated that he is now willing to play a gay man on screen after watching Fawad’s role in the film ‘Kapoor and Sons’.

Well, we must say that in this competitive industry where friends become foe more quickly and jealousy prevails, it is heartwarming to see such great friendship and respect the actor holds for his contemporary.
