Husband beats wife for not charging mobile phone

DERA GHAZI KHAN: In a horrible incident, a husband assaulted his wife for failing to charge his mobile phone. The nature of the assault was so severe that the woman had to be hospitalised.

Police said the incident took place on the outskirts of Dera Ghazi Khan in Hasan Town. The couple had tied the knot six months ago.

The husband who has been identified as Faraz had asked his wife to charge the phone but she forgot to do so.  This led to Faraz severely beating his wife with a stick, breaking her shoulder and leg.

After the assault the husband fled while police have lodged a case.
