Unprovoked firing by Indian army across LoC, Working Boundary: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Indian forces yet again resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary on Tuesday morning, ISPR said in a statement.

Indian army carried out unprovoked firing at Bhimber and Chaprar sectors which was befittingly responded to by the Pakistan Army, ISPR said.

Earlier today the Pakistan Foreign Office summoned the Deputy Indian High Commissioner and registered strong protest over repeated violation of the LoC and Working Boundary by India.

In a statement handed over to J P Singh by DG South Asia, Pakistan strongly condemned the repeated ceasefire violations at the LoC and Working Boundary by Indian forces.

One civilian and a young girl were martyred and at least seven civilians were wounded in unprovoked firing by Indian Border Security Force at the Working Boundary on Sunday night.
