One killed, three injured as man opens fire in Lahore

LAHORE: One person was killed while three others were injured when a man opened fire in Bilal Ganj, Lahore Saturday night.

According to the police, the accused, Hassan was on a motorcycle when he suddenly opened fire. Subsequently, four people, including Rafiullah, Namar Khan, Siddique and Shoaib were injured.

A heavy contingent of police reached the site while the injured were taken to the hospital where 24-year-old Rafiquallah succumbed to his injuries.

Out of the other three injured persons, two were discharged from the hospital after being administered first aid. One of the injured was under treatment until this report was filed.

The accused fled the site, leaving behind his pistol and motorcycle. The police suspected the incident to be a case of personal enmity.
A case was filed against Hassan, and the investigation started.
