Petraeus can’t save US from defeat in Afghanistan: JI

LAHORE: Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan Friday said the new CIA Chief David Petraeus cannot save the US from defeat in Afghanistan, Geo News reported.

Addressing a gathering after Juma prayers here at Mansoora, Munawar Hassan said all hopes attached with General Petraeus will soon be deflated. “The US has mentally accepted its defeat by showing its final card,” he added.

“After moral degradation of the West, now it is the turn of its war technology to face mortification,” the JI Amir said.

He said the US its western allies had invited its own destruction by invading against Iraq and Afghanistan.
