KARACHI: The forensic analysis of the late Ali Raza Abidi's car has been completed, investigative sources informed Geo News on Wednesday, adding that there were five bullet marks on his vehicle.
While the probe is still underway, the sources said the forensic part of the investigation has concluded. Of the five marks, they said three bullets hit the car's door, one was lodged in the roof, and a fifth one crossed through the vehicle to hit the door on the other side.
Sources further commented that no fingerprints, other than Abidi's, were found inside the car.

On the other hand, another closed-circuit television footage has been obtained by Geo News, wherein the suspects can be seen chasing the white car of the former member of the National Assembly (MNA).
Earlier in the day, the chief minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, had said terrorists have started to regroup and that is quite concerning. There is a need for the "maintenance of law and order… I'm here to maintain law and order in the province.
"That's my primary job and that's the primary job of the political government. If we fail in doing this, we are not doing justice… I'm not doing justice to my work," Shah had mentioned.
Considering that similar weapons had been used in an earlier shooting incident as well, another question added to the narrative is whether the suspects were hired assassins.
