Rehman seeks info on missing persons

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday directed the provinces to provide complete details of the missing persons and the steps taken for their recovery, Geo News reported.

The situation of missing persons was reviewed in detail at a meeting presided over by Rehman Malik here.

IGs of the four provinces, home secretaries, chief commissioners, IG Islamabad and representatives of intelligence agencies attended the meeting.

The Interior Minister on the occasion directed for immediate implementation of the Supreme Court’s ruling in connection with the missing persons.

He lauded the role of Judicial Commission that it assumed in connection with the issue of the missing persons.
