ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q leaders including Pervez Elahi have been sworn in at a ceremony in Islamabad following a power sharing deal with the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Geo News reported Monday.
Prime Minister Yususf Raza Gilani was present on the occasion.
PML-Q leaders Pervez Elahi and Amir Mukam were sworn in as federal ministers while Raza Hiraj, Shahjehan Yusuf, Rana Asif and Waqas Akaram took oath as ministers of state.
Other PML-Q members Wajahat Hussain, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Ghaus Baksh and Riaz Pirzada were also sworn in.
Twelve positions are being given to PML-Q in the federal cabinet under the power sharing deal with PPP.
