Three children among four die in road mishap

CHICHAWATNI: Four passengers were killed and seven others sustained injuries when their van collided with a trailer at National Highway in Chichawatni, Geo News reported on Monday.

According to report, an ill-fated family was on its way to Vehari when their van collided with a trailer.

The victims identified as Muneer Ahmed, 45 and his two children seven-year-old Ali Haider and five-year-old Farhat died on the spot, while eight others were injured.

The injured were rushed to tehsil hospital where another child succumbed to injuries.

Police have initiated investigation into the incident.
