ISLAMABAD: The third phase of devolution of ministries to the provinces under the 18th amendment of the Constitution is likely to be completed by June 25.
The meeting of the 18th amendment implementation committee was held here under the chairmanship of Senator Raza Rabbani here at Parliament House on Thursday.
According to sources, the meeting had to be ended soon after it began due to incomplete quorum.
Ten ministries had already been devolved the provinces while arrangements have almost been finalized for devolution of seven more ministries including the Ministry of Women Affairs, Sports, Women Development, Minorities Affairs, Labour and Manpower, Environment and Health.
These ministries will be devolved to the Provinces by June 25, sources said.
