Faisalabad labourers hold unique 'wheat sack race'

FAISALABAD: A race took place in the city’s Samandri grain market on Friday in which the winner, a labourer, was awarded Rs10,000 cash and a trophy.

The task was to carry a 70kg flour sack to the end of the line. The competition was held between 30 men, among which Altaf Jutt secured first place. 

Another labourer, Azmat, secured second position and received Rs5, 000 cash. Farooq Jutt bagged the third spot and won Rs2,500.
