LAHORE: The retired employees of Pakistan Railways (PR) protested against non-payment of pension here on Tuesday, Geo News reported.
According to sources, the ex-employees were waiting outside a bank to receive their pension but it is been more than two months that they have not been able to get it.
The senior ex-employees requested the government to provide solution to their plight.
More than 1500 retired PR officials from different areas are yet to receive their dues for over a period of six months.
PR employees from all over the country including Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur and other major hubs of PR are participating in the protest today.
