LAHORE: A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck various parts of federal capital, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) triggering panic in the areas, Geo News reported.
According to the details, quake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Charsadda, Shangla, Hazara, Nohshera, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chakwal, Swat, Bajaur Agency, Lower Dir, Malakand among various other areas.
The epicenter of the tremor was located at 350 kilometers north-west of Islamabad. The depth of the tremor was 200km below the surface.
