LAHORE: The talks between the Punjab government and nurses ended here successfully, which led to the nurses agreeing giving a break of one month to their strike, Geo News reported.
Provincial Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah said that a sub-committee has been set up on the demands of the nurses relating to special package ensuring promotions and regularizations, which would be presenting its recommendations within a week.
He said that the committee has decided to address both the demands of the nurses as well as quash the cases registered against them. Besides, the law minister has directed the secretary health not to take any departmental actions against the nurses for their agitations.
