Marvi Memon joins PML-N

LAHORE: Marvi Memon, the former MNA of PML-Q, has announced her decision to the join PML-N in a press conference flanked by Nawaz Sharif on Sunday, Geo News reported.

Marvi had tendered her resignation from the National Assembly (NA) and her party on the principle of not wanting to be part of corrupt and incompetent treasury benches, setting new standards in today's politics.

While addressing her plans Memon she said it took her three years to understand that politics is not possible in an establishment-sponsored party.

'My first encounter with PML-N was when I saw them fighting for democracy against President Musharraf. I found the PML-N top leadership very down to earth, serious, and wise on national issues.'

'I found PML-N a matured political party as compared to others and meeting with Nawaz Sharif removed all doubts.'
