Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt wedding festivities have officially begun!

The couple, who was first linked together in 2017, is all set to tie the knot this week in Mumbai.

The day for the bride and groom's family kick-started with Ganesh Pooja after which the guests will gather for a fun-filled Mehendi ceremony.

Alia's mehendi ceremony will be held at the residential building in Pali Hill, Bandra. ETimes has reported that the "mood at mehendi venue, which happens to the bride's house in Vastu is vibrant and buzzing with a beautiful mix of Sufi and folk music along with old and new film songs sung by a folk singer."

"Some of the songs being played and sung at the function are Mera laung gavacha, Apna bana le meri jaan and we also hear that the Raazi song Dilbaro, which features Alia and her mother Soni Razdan, will be part of the playlist at Alia’s mehendi, too," noted the outlet.

Ranbir and Alia are expected to exchange their vows on April 14.
