Asim Azhar unveils soulful ‘Durood O' Salam’ as Ramadan gift for fans

Asim Azhar took the charge to tug at fans’ heartstrings with a soulful compilation of Durood O' Salam during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Taking to Instagram, the Pakistani heartthrob unveiled the teaser of his latest release, produced and arranged by Naveed Nashad.

"Aik choti si koshish (a small effort).. I grew up listening to these Durood O’ Salam from my mother & grandmother & wanted to present this to you guys with all the love for Almighty & our Holy Prophet (SAW) (full video link in my bio)", he wrote alongside the video clip.

The recently-released video, directed by Bilawal Hussain Abbasi, is already garnering a massive response on YouTube with its captivating visuals.

The Durood O' Salam also features a group of students of Surtaal Music Academy as a choir.

The academy also expressed gratitude towards Azhar for ‘giving this opportunity' to the young talent

Azar is the latest Pakistani singer to add his release to the much-loved list of devotional tracks and religious Kalams, following Tajdar-e-Haram and Wohi Khuda Hai by Atif Aslam and Aaqa by Abida Parveen and Ali Sethi, that have left fans enchanted by the incomparable magic of spiritual anthems.
