Pakistani celebrities appeared to be standing strong beside the heartbroken family of Dua Zehra – a teenage girl who went missing on April 16 from the Golden Town area of Al Falah in Karachi.

Taking to social media, renowned names of the media fraternity raised their voice to call for action from respective authorities, ensuring the safe return of Dua back to her home.

Mahira Khan took to Twitter to pray for the "safe and sound" return of Dua. “Praying with all my heart for Dua Zehra.. may she come home today... Safe and sound... Ameen,” she wrote.

Ahsan Khan also reacted to the heartbreaking news by writing, “Fourteen-year-old #DuaZehra was apparently abducted around 7 days ago. Her father has already filed a police complaint against unidentified suspects, he claimed that he had received two calls for ransom!”

Maya Ali also extended her support to the parents of the missing girl by writing on the micro-blogging site, “This is absolutely heartbreaking. Can’t imagine what her parents are going thorough.”

“Let’s pray together for #DuaZehra that she returns to her home safely. I request the authorities to take strong action and bring her back to her parents,” she added.

Yumna Zaidi also prayed for the ‘innocent girl by writing, “May #DuaZehraKazmi returns home safely.”

Sajal Aly also called for immediate action for the missing girl. “Deeply saddened to know about the disappearance of #DuaZehra”

“Prayers for the safe return of this young girl. AUTHORITIES MUST GET INTO IMMEDIATE ACTION,” she added.
