Batting first, South Africa set a target of 143 for Pakistan. Pakistan in reply could only make 105 runs.
Pakistan was looking to repeat as champions of the tournament which is played
annually in Hong Kong.
Earlier on Sunday Pakistan had defeated Sri Lanka in their semi-final match.
