Willie Nelson announces 'biggest' Philly concert

Willie Nelson just announced his plans on celebrating his country’s Independence Day, on the 4th of July in none other than Philadelphia.
The 90-year-old prolific music artist took to his official Instagram account to upload an Independence themed poster of himself, revealing his upcoming concert to be held.
“JUST ANNOUNCED! Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic is coming to Philly for the first time ever!” the caption read.
Revealing the stars who would be sharing the stage with the Always on My Mind crooner, it further stated, “Join Willie and his friends on Independence Day in the birthplace of America, with @bobdylan, @robertplantofficial & @alisonkrauss, @marenmorris, @mavisstaples, and @celissemusic.”
Not only excited with the upcoming performance but also with the star-studded line-up, fans flocked the comments section expressing their enthusiasm.
“Heck of a lineup, Willie! God Bless America ????????,” a fan wrote.
Another admirer penned, “I love that Dylan and Mavis are playing too!”

Willie Nelson’s announcement to perform comes a while after he unveiled his upcoming studio album, titled, The Border, to be released on May 31, 2024.
