Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas Nolan are reportedly nominated for Royal honours.

According to the new reports of The Mirror, the legendary director and his wife will soon receive a knighthood and damehood.

The newly published Government documents reportedly reveal that the Oppenheimer director and film producer will be given the titles.

This comes after Christopher Nolan clinched his first Academy Award for his work in Oppenheimer, after two decades of delivering critically acclaimed movies such as The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, Inception and Memento, on 10th March 2024.

During his acceptance speech, the well-esteemed director stated, “We don’t know where this incredible journey is going from here.”

“But to know that you think I’m a meaningful part of it means the world to me,” he added and signed off from the chat.

For those unversed, the block-buster flick also bagged accolades for Best Actor by Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor by Robert Downey Jr., Best Score by Ludwig Göransson, cinematography by Hoyte can Hoytema and Editing by Jennifer Lame.
