Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott finally went public with the ending of their 18-year marriage.

Citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split, the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress filed for divorce from the Canadian actor, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE which lists the official date of separation to be June 17, 2023.

According to the filing, Tori has asked the court to grant her spousal maintenance and dismiss Dean from receiving it.

In the filing, she also requested for the sole physical custody of their five minor children, Liam Aaron McDermott (aged 17), Stella Doreen (aged 15), Hattie Margaret (aged 12), Finn Davey (aged 11) and Beau Dean (aged 7).

Moreover, in her filing, Tori revealed that the type and extent of the couple's separate properties are yet to be determined.

The petition also did not specify whether they have agreed upon a prenuptial agreement or not.

Previously, Dean had announced his separation from Tori on the same date that is listed in the filing.

In an Instagram story, which was later deleted, the 57-year-old actor had penned, “It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own."
