Kelsea Ballerini performed at the 2024 CMT Awards by singing the reimagined version of her debut song Love Me Like You Mean It.

Kelsea Ballerini hosted the 2024 CMT Awards for the fourth time but this time it was her first solo hosting.

In an interview with People magazine back in Feburary she spoke of the then-incoming gig and said, “It's definitely new grounds for me, but it's my fourth year hosting, so I feel like I've learned a lot.”

While performing, the Peter Pan singer dressed in a shimmery gold bodysuit with black tights and heels. Her hair was tied back in a high ponytail and she was wearing black and gold earrings.

Kelsea said, "Y'all, I really can't believe it's been 10 years. That's crazy," during her performance.

The country singer released the reimagined version of her debut song on April 5.

She took to Instagram on April 4 and celebrated the "beginning of her career" by releasing the 'reimagined' version of the 2014 popular single.

She wrote in the caption, "Ten years ago, I was twenty, naive, starry eyed, and absolutely relentless on putting my music out into the world."

Kelsea added, "I’m proud to say, nothing has changed…except a DECADE of this wildly beautiful journey we’ve gotten to share full of tours and sing alongs, wins and losses, and growing up together."

She went on to say, "Soooo, before we move into new music (yes, it’s coming I swear) I wanted to celebrate the beginning with you."

Kelsea concluded her caption with announcing the release date, "The song that started it all, love me like you mean it (reimagined and ten years later) comes out tomorrow night at midnight."
