Kate Garraway recently called out the unresponsiveness of service organizations.

It has been nearly three months since the lobbyist husband of Kate Garraway, Derek Draper, passed away on 3rd January 2024, but she is reportedly still receiving letter from the Haringey Council, that is 'demanding' letters from her late husband to which he “obviously can't respond to.”

For the unfamiliar, Haringey Council is the “local authority for the London Borough of Haringey in Greater London, England,” as per Wikipedia.

Taking to her X account (formerly Twitter), the TV presenter penned, “@haringeycouncil -please help.”

She added that she “have been trying for ten days sold [sic] to speak to someone about my husband passing away - following unsettling post making demands which obviously he can’t respond to.”

“I just cannot get through. Again today nearly 50 mins wait,” she added in dismay.

She also mentioned that even though she finally managed to get through to someone, she did not receive adequate assistance as she was put “straight back to the beginning” when the line cut off following a hold of 20 minutes.

As per the findings of Daily Mail, after a long wait of reportedly 17 hours, the English authority eventually responded to the distressed Kate by replying, “Hello Kate. I'm sorry to hear that. Please send us a DM and provide the details of your enquiry along with your contact details and I'll see what I can do to help. Thank you.”
