Jenna Fischer refutes claims of being approached for The Office Reboot during a recent appearance.

In a recent appearance to promote a business ad campaign, the actress, who portrayed Pam Beesly in the acclaimed TV show for 13 years, opened up about the series reboot.

“No, I have not been approached”, Jenna told People Magazine regarding her comeback in the revival series.

“There is a spinoff in the works. Greg Daniels and Michael Koman are working on it. I don't know a lot of details, but I'm not involved”, she added, “I haven't been approached about it."

According to The Wrap, Greg Daniels (who originally adapted The Office UK) will be joining hands with American comedian and Nathan For You co-creator, Michael Koman, for a spin-off show of the mockumentary series.

According to Deadline, the plot of the series would remain the same as the Steve Carell-led original following the “employees at the Scranton branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company”.

However, the cast and office setting would be completely new offering a fresh take on the comedy show.
