Florence Welch celebrated her collaboration with Taylor Swift on the track Florida!!! from Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Florence and the Machine described the experience as exhilarating, reflecting on the deep emotional themes of the song which deal with heartbreak and starting fresh.

In the caption she wrote, "Me and my ghosts we had a hell of a time @taylorswift Honoured to be in this department"

This marks the first official musical collaboration between Welch and Swift, who have known each other and shared mutual friends for years.

The track, Florida!!! in which the duo sings, "I need to forget, so take me to Florida / I've got some regrets, I'll bury them in Florida / Tell me I'm despicable, say it's unforgivable / At least the dolls are beautiful, f--- me up, Florida," mirrors both artist's lyrical styles.
