Tom Selleck gets nostalgic over chaotic wedding tale with Jillie Mack

Tom Selleck recounted the 'commotion’ that almost jeopardized his wedding with Jillie Mack.

Talking about something that made his marriage memorable, Selleck recalled the ‘commotion’ that ensued just a while before his wife walked down the aisle, rendering their wedding almost derailed.

Speaking with People magazine the 79-year-old actor recalled, “She was in a little room off the little chapel, getting ready, and I think my mom was in there. Maybe Marty wasn't there. She was pregnant," all before of a sudden ‘commotion’.

“Jillie can talk really fast and a lot and loudly, and I heard all this stuff,” Selleck remembered, “And I think Dan went to check, and we had all forgotten the license”.

However, the Blue Bloods star mentioned that the reverend saved the day as he offered to “sign the thing anyway” and “went all the way into Reno himself so [the rest] could have dinner and brought it back”.

Referring to the incident as what he remembers the “most about the wedding”, the father of two added, “It was just an adventure, I wouldn’t trade it.”

 For those unversed, Selleck got married to Jillie in a secret ceremony held near Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
