Wading into Drake and Kendrick Lamar's rap battle, Kanye West shared that the idea behind the remix of Like That diss was aimed to ensure the "elimination" of Drizzy.

In a chat with Justin Laboy on The Download podcast, the Chicago rapper said Future approached him to add fuel to the fire that they hoped would engulf the Toronto rapper during the so-called rap war.

“Pluto called me, I went to the studio and laid that,” the 46-year-old shared. “Everybody was very, very excited about the elimination of Drake. Not excited — we was energized.”

The track is the latest salvo against Drake who has been lately cornered by several of his co-artists through diss tracks.

Despite the rap legends' apparent success previously in hashing out the feud between them, Ye's latest remix which starts with Yo Dot, I got you," is a message that the beef is still up and running.

“Y’all so out of sight, out of mind/ I can’t even think of a Drake line/ Play J. Cole, get the ***** dry," the Grammy winner rapped as he delivered blows to Drake and J. Cole
